- MIDTERM II: November 12, in-class
- The midterm will cover chapters 10-12, 14, 15, 17
- Closed books, closed notes. Calculators are not allowed.
- For practice, do these end-of-chapter Review Exercises:
- 16.17, 16.18, 16.19, 16.20, 16.21, 16.24, 16.26, 16.39, 16.45, 16.53, 16.61,
- 21.27, 21.41, 21.43
- Solutions are now posted (warning: minor
errors are unlikely but still possible)
- Also, go over all homework problems assigned, both black and blue
- Here is a sample exam from a few years back (ours may emphasize other topics,
though)
