System Requirements.
MLC: The Math Learning Center will start this term on Wednesday, Sept. 4th at
10:00am. Hours for the MLC are Mon-Wed 10-7, Thurs 10-6 and Fri 10-2. Go there for help.
Exams:
Midterm 1: Monday September 23, 8:45 PM
Midterm 2: Tuesday October 29, 8:45 PM
Final: Wednesday December 11, 11:15 AM - 1:45 PM
Calculators: Students planning to continue with calculus are
encouraged to have a TI-83 or TI-84 graphing calculator. Calculators with CAS
(computer algebra system) will not be allowed on exams in the foreseeable
future, so are probably not a good investment.
Calculators will not be allowed during
examinations in MAT 125 this term.
Grading: Midterm Exams 22.5% each; Final Exam 40%;
Recitation grade (homework and class participation) 15%.
