Note: R32 is split: students with last names starting with A-K go to Javits 103; students with last name L-Z go to Javits 101. Sorry for the inconvenience - but we do not have a choice.

Coverage: Midterm 1 includes all the precalculus material included in the early exam, plus the material about limits and continuous functions (book sections 2.1--2.4) we have studied since.

Please note that it won't be a multiple choice exam: you will be required to write both your answers and your reasoning! This is important: answers without reasoning will get very little partial credit. Your explanations should be such that someone who does not know how to solve this problem can read and follow your explanations.
