The conference and the workshop are sponsored by the James H. Simons Math-Physics Endowment and a grant from the National Science Foundation. In particular we will have funds to support a number of participants, particularly graduate students and recent Ph.Ds.

The conference will begin on the afternoon of October 12th, and will end at noon of October 15th. We expect many of the participants to begin arriving on October 12th, when we will have one talk, followed by a wine & cheese welcoming party.
We have reserved blocks of rooms at reduced rates for the conference at the following hotels. Special rate cut-off date is 9/11/06.
