I am interested in most things algebraic (groups, rings, fields, ...); I also enjoy most things topological (point-set, algebraic, differential, ...).

Before I got my B.S. from Brooklyn College, I received an associate's degree in Culinary Arts from The Culinary Institute of America. I enjoy answering questions on the Ask-An-Algebraist (as Steve), the AoPS (as SD5225272), and the Yahoo! Answers (as Stephen D) message boards.

My hobbies include bike riding, racquetball, cooking, darts, drinking good beer, and general merriment.
