My main area of interest is String Topology, and for good reason; my thesis advisor Moira Chas is one of the pioneers of the field. I also have what I call an "obsessive hobby" of studying group theory.

Before I got my B.S. from Brooklyn College, I received an associate's degree in Culinary Arts from The CIA. That means I can cook! I like to answer questions online, especially on MathOverflow and Math.SE.

My hobbies include running, racquetball, cooking, reading (non-math sometimes!), and picturing what it will be like when I finally get a dog.
