grading policy, and other administrative foo-foo.
A PDF version is available, too.
This looks prettier, but requires

MWF 11-12 in Math P-143 or 5D-148. I am around much more
than that, and am happy to see you outside of those hours. Send an
email or call if you want to be sure I will be available, or just
come by my office in Math 5D-148. |

- Estimated schedule of lectures and
homework assignments, as of Sunday, 9 December 2007.
- If you don't have the Graph Coloring chapter, you can get it
here (authentication required).
- Information about the first two exams can be found on
this page.
- The Final Exam will not be in our usual room. Instead, it will
be in
Javits 110 at 8:00am.
You may bring one handwritten sheet of notes with you to the exam
(anything you want on it, but it must be handwritten, not printed or
photocopied).
The final is cumulative, covering everything we have done in the course.
There may be a slight emphasis on the more recent material (fair division and
symmetry).
It seems I won't have time to put up a sample final. I'm sorry.
- Students wanting to do a project for extra credit should
read this description.
More stuff will arrive here when there is more to put here. Until then, this
page will remain the same, unless it changes. (I last made a change
on Monday, 17 December 2007, or thereabouts. )
