Welcome to MAT 303 Differential equations are the language in which the laws of physics are expressed, and have numerous applications in the physical, biological, and social sciences. This course will introduce you to basic methods of solving differential equations. It is a prerequisite for all subsequent courses in the area. We will mainly focus on on linear differential equations with constant coefficients and systems of differential equations. We will also discuss many standard applications and some numerical methods.
