Exams
- FINAL: May 8, in-class
- The final is cumulative. It will cover sections 1.1-6, 2.1-9, 3.1-8, 4.1-5. When preparing for the final, pay particular
attention to the post-2nd midterm material: sections 3.8, 4.1-5.
- Closed books, closed notes. Calculators are not allowed.
- For practice, do these end-of-chapter exercises:
- Practice exercises for midterms I and II (see below)
- Chapter 3 (p. 255): 71
- Chapter 4 (p. 336): 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 33, 35, 36
- Solutions are now posted
- Also, go over all homework problems assigned, both black, blue, and online
- Here is a sample exam from last spring (ours may emphasize other topics,
though)
- Extra office hours: Wed 5/7, 11am-1pm
- MIDTERM II: April 10, in-class
- The midterm will cover sections 2.9, 3.1-7
