Exams and homeworks
Exams
- Midterm 1: March 1 , in class.
- Solutions of the exam problems.
- A list of exam topics/requirements and some
practice questions from last semester.
- MAT319 midterm from last semester.
- Keep in mind, however, that our exam will be longer (we have 80 minutes, not 50),
and that practice questions aren't supposed to provide a template of what will be on
exam. (They are meant to give you some extra practice.) The best preparation is to go over
the homeworks and make sure you understand the material. (The homework contained a couple
of very
hard questions though; stuff like that won't be on the test.)
- Midterm 2: March 29 , in class.
- Solutions of the exam problems.
- Review sheet and practice questions.
- Final Exam: May 10, 11:00 - 1:30, in Physics 113
(not in our usual classroom).
- Review sheet.
- Final Exam from Fall 2006 MAT 320.
I removed the questions on the material we didn't cover, but some
of the remaining questions may still be harder than our test will be. (Or maybe not.)
- Additional practice questions.
- As usual, the best preparation for the exam would be to go over all homeworks
and previous tests.
