MAT 126, CALCULUS B, SUMMER I 2004

MAT 126 is the second semester of the three-semester calculus sequence MAT 125, 126 and 127. We will study integration. We will often need to use the theory of differentiation (MAT 125).
 
PREREQUISITES: A grade of C or higher in MAT 125, 131 or 141; or level 6 on the Mathematics Placement Examination. Check the Math Undergraduate Office (P-143 Math Tower, phone 2-8520) for times and places of the exam.

HOMEWORK: Due next week Tuesday in the class. Selected questions will be graded.

 
QUIZZES: There could be several quizzes in the class, which counts 10% of the grade.
 
GRADE: Homework=20%, Midterm=30%, Quiz=10%, Final=40%.

CALCULATORS: They are NOT allowed during the exams.
