SPRING 2012: PERVERSE SHEAVES. Starting from the discussion of
several examples, I will introduce perverse sheaves as a tool for
computing cohomology groups appearing in complex and algebraic
geometry. The relevant notions from homological algebra will be
introduced along the way.
