• You may hand in any missing assignments by Friday the 18th. Any "late" assignments will not be graded until after the final exam, so don't expect to get them back.
• Both the midterm and the midterm solutions have been posted.

Overview

This course provides a comprehensive preparation for the regular calculus sequence, and includes an introduction to differential calculus. Trigonometric, exponential, and logarithmic functions are taught, as are asymptotes and limits.

Textbook: Precalculus Essentials by Robert Blitzer 2nd Edition, MAT123 Calculus Supplement*

The textbook is available at the 18th St Barnes & Nobles. (18th St and 5th Ave). Their weekday hours are 9 - 8:30 pm. Their number is 212 - 807 - 0099.

The textbook is also available at the Stony Brook University bookstore on the main campus.

Grading:

• Problem Sets - 30%
• Midterm - 30%
• Final - 40%
