Final exam info

When and where

Final exam will be on Wed, Dec 19, 5:00-7:30pm, in the same room we normally meet.

What is covered?

The exam will be cumulative: it will cover all the material we have studied so far; you can find the list of all the topics we have covred in syllabus. Note, however, that Section 13 (Number systems), even though it was originally in the syllabus, is not included.

Can I use notes?

You can use the textbook and Geometry Notes but no other material.

Will there be a help session?

Yes, on Tu, 12/18, 11-12:30, in Math P-131.

How do I prepare for the exam?

• Go over all the homeworks.
• Look at the midterms (both practice and actual midterms are posted here).
• Try doing final exams from previous years: final from Fall 2006, final from Spring 2004 with solutions
