Homework
Math is not a spectator sport. The only way to learn calculus is to do it. Homework will be assigned every week, and unless otherwise specified, is due next Tuesday (i.e., homework for week 1 is due on Tuesday of the second week). Late homework will not be accepted. All assignments will be posted online, here.

Recitations
There will be two recitations every week. Attendance at recitation is essential. Your recitation instructor will discuss additional material designed to illuminate the lectures, provide plenty of examples, and answer any questions you might have.

Exams and Quizzes
There will be a midterm (on Fri, 10/21, in class) and a final exam (on Wed, December 21, from 8am-10:30am). The final exam will be comprehensive.

There will be weekly quizzes given in class. The lowest score will be dropped.

Grading
Your final grade will be determined according to the following formula:

Quizzes20%
Midterm20%
Final Exam35%
