Welcome to Calculus! MAT 125 is a beginning calculus course, where we will study elementary functions on one variable. The basic concepts of Calculus will be illustrated by numereous examples and supported by geometrical illustrations. Differential calculus will help us to understand velocity and acceleration, rate of a chemical reaction, grouth of a population, marginal cost and interest of investments, spread of rumors, and many other phenomena in science and life.
