Prerequisites - Each student must have received a score of 3 or better on the Mathematics Placement Exam.
Textbook - The required textbook is Precalculus Essentials, First Edition by R. Blitzer. It is strongly recommended that you read the relevant sections of the textbook before attending class.
Sources of help - The mathematics department has many resources
available to help students. First, each instructor hold several office hours
every week. In addition, the
Homework - Math is not a spectator sport. The only way to learn calculus is to do it. Therefore, homework will be assigned every week and must be turned in at next class. Late homework will not be accepted.
