web

Ah, the IT projects I have known.

    spaceplan
Ah, you can look but you can't come in. Sorry. I do a bunch of stuff for Sasaki Associates, Inc. This is a space management application. I promise.

    math for america
A cool non-profit trying to improve the state of high school math education.

    department project
When the department decided it was time to upgrade their website, I was asked to develop it. What makes the new design interesting is (a) it's focus on cross-browser compatibility and (b) its modularity which should make maintenance a breeze (yeah, right!).

      cd project
Now officially entitled, "Overview of Undergraduate Mathematics," to me it will always remain the "cd project." The University mailed a disc to all incoming freshman to help prepare them for placement exams and familiarize them with our little school. As a pilot project, we focused on the math department. Guess who got to be the web designer and content developer. The project has since been expanded to include the program in writing and rhetoric, but I have nothing to do with their section of the site. I did, however, do the new front page.

      poster project
I was the mathematical content developer and one of the html coders on this project whose goal is to encourage the participation of women in mathematics and the physical sciences by humanizing the image of science and the scientist, and providing interesting study materials. And, no (grin), I ain't responsible for maintenance.

      math and mathlab
I was one of the lucky few responsible for maintaing these pages. Of course, they were here long before I arrived, and seem to have survived now that I am no longer being payed to babysit them.
