The grades for homework 1 have been posted on Blackboard and this is the grading policy. For those who missed some questions, 5 points off per question. For those who have done all the questions, full credit if everything is correct; 1 point off if there are mistakes, in which case it doesn't necessarily mean you are almost correct. I hope you could check wherever you made mistakes and try to understand clearly how the correct solution goes. Welcome to my office/MLC hours if there are issues or questions.

In general, the grading is rather loose as long as you have done all the problems. I expect this to continue in the future. But please be advised that the grading for quizzes will be very strict, and the quiz problems (except for some bonus problems) will be very closely related to the homework.
