I GET BY WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS IN FREMONT, CA

Dmitry is my oldest friend. Not in age, but how far back we go. We went to the same elementary school and we met in 3rd grade. He's not actually from Fremont, he's from Walnut Creek (which is a much nicer town). This winter break I hung out with him in Walnut Creek where it was really warm and sunny. We talked about the past, but also about the present and future.

His quote to me: The past is history, the future's a mystery, but the present is a gift. That's why it's called the present.

Zack has been one of my best friends since the 11th grade. We like to eat junk food together while watching bad movies. The ones that are uninentional comedies. It's usually quite hit or miss. Either we laugh for one-and-a-half hours straight or cry, "Please, let this be over...!"

Private jokes: (1) Uh... GPA! (2) You started crying? Oh... (3) Give me the popcorn. (4) An order of Kung Pao Chicken. (5) No... never, everrrrrr!

Silviu and I have been friends since 6th grade. Then, in undergrad, we were roommates. It's not inaccurate to say that he's like my older brother. Sure, there's been ups and downs, but have you ever heard of brothers who get along 100% of the time? One nice thing is that our common Romanian heritage makes us socially irresistible. So heap on the garlic.

Private jokes: (1) I'm lookin' like a foooool in front of your friends! (2) Don't worry, I won't break nah glass. (3) Mackenzie... when I lift weights I feel like... the mighty Cromm! (4) Papa always said .... and you and little Forrest have it too. (5) What's on the top shelf?
