RTG program in Geometry and Physics

RTG stands for "Research Training Groups" which is a designation used by the National Science Foundation for allotting grant monies. The Stony Brook RTG program in Geometry and Physics is an attempt to re-incorporate concepts of theoretical physics into the Geometry and Topology curricula at all levels starting from the undergraduate to the post-doctoral.
