Conference celebrating the life and work of Lars Ahlfors

Stanford University, September 19-21, 1997

A conference celebrating the life and work of Lars Ahlfors will be held at Stanford University, September 19-21,1997. Ahlfors, who would have been 90 this year, died late last fall. The goal of this conference is to explore various lines that are currently active areas of research where he made major - and often seminal - contributions.

The program will include talks by the following speakers:
