AU-UAB miniconference in dynamics

The first AU-UAB miniconference in dynamics will be held on Friday March 22nd at University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). The talks scheduled:

4:00 M. Jiang (Georgia Tech) Spatiotemporal mixing for infinite dimensional systems

5:00 Jaroslaw Kwapisz (Georgia Tech) On subshifts supporting cocycles of noninvertible matrices

All events will be held in Campbell Hall, 1300 University Blvd, University of Alabama at Birmingham. To get there get onto I-65. If heading north take the University Blvd exit. Campbell Hall is on your left between 13th and 14th streets.

If heading south get off at the 4th Ave exit. Turn right on 13th Street and drive up to University Blvd (=8th Ave). Campbell Hall is on your left.

We have six parking stickers available (the day of the conference only) for the 13th street student lot (lot number 15A) just across from Campbell hall (entrance on 13th between University and 6th avenues). Get your sticker from the math office (4th floor, turn left from the elevators, room 452). The street parking is all metered near the department, free parking is available on 13th, 14th and 15th street, drive up towards 9th and 10 Ave, usually near 10th Ave there are free spaces.
