The first talk will begin Monday morning (June 21), and the final talk will end by 5pm on Friday (June 25). While you must make your own travel arrangements, it will be helpful to know when you plan to arrive and depart.

We have also reserved some rooms at various convenient hotels, and we have negotiated special rates for the conference. Please book direct with the hotels and mention IMS (Institute for Mathematical Sciences) when booking to be offered these special rates.
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express (631 471-8000) in Stony Brook at a rate of $129 a night including breakfast, and a block of rooms at Danford's Inn (631 928-5200) a 15 minute drive away, at a rate of $131 a night including breakfast.
Other nearby hotels are the Three Village Inn (about 30 minutes walk from campus) and the Smithtown Econolodge (15 min drive).
There will be shuttles to the conference from Danford's, the Three Village Inn, and the Holiday Inn.

If you are a foreign national, please enter the type of visa on your I-94 entry card.
If you have a J-1 visa, you must bring a letter from the university that initiated your visa stating that participation in the activity satisfies the criteria under 22CFR 62.20 of the immigration act, and that support offered for expenses and/or travel is permitted. Present this letter with the visa documentation.

Important: If you are a foreign national, it is crucial that you remember to bring your passport/visa documentation.

On June 22nd there will be a banquet held at in the Lombardi's on the Sound at Port Jefferson Country Club. The cost for each faculty member or guest will be $50; postdocs and students will be subsidized and the cost is $25 for a post-doc, $15 for a student.

While the money will be collected at the conference, please let us know how many people you will be bringing to the banquet so we can plan.
